'The Authentic Colt Black Powder Series' 2nd generation reproduction of the Colt 1862 Pocket Navy. A single action percussion revolver chambered for .36 caliber ammunition, and manufactured circa 1979-1984. It features a 5.5" octagonal barrel, brass cone front sight, 'V' notched rear sight cut in the hammer nose, smooth curved thin trigger, checkered hammer spur, and an unfluted five shot rebated cylinder with a roll stamped stage coach hold-up scene. The backstrap & triggerguard have a silver plated finish, and are in excellent condition. The frame, hammer, and loading lever are color-case hardened and in excellent condition. The barrel, trigger, and cylinder have a blued finish and retains approximately 99% of that finish. It is fitted with a one-piece varnished walnut grip, and is in excellent condition. The bore, rifling and cylinder are in excellent condition. Revolver is in like new condition. The action works properly but needs to be cleaned because it has hardened oil residue keeping things from moving smoothly. This firearm includes the original factory black cardboard with foam inserts, and its documents.
